Oral Presentation


The United stated of America is a constitutional federal republic. composed of fifty states and one federal district.
With 9.83 million km ² and more than 310 million inhabitants, is the third or fourth largest country in the world and it was founded by thirteen British colonies located along the Atlantic coast. On July 4, 1776, issued the Declaration of Independence was issned.
The country accounts for two fifths of global military spending and economic strength,it is the political and cultural leader in the world.

Government and politics
America is the oldest federation in the world.Es a constitutional republic

The U.S. economy is a capitalist mixed economy,
The country has some general rules to follow, but each state can set them differently: for example the death penalty or the use of weapons

Education
It is compulsory that children attend school from six or seven until the age of eighteen, some states allow students to leave school at sixteen or seventeen

Typical dishes
like apple pie, fried chicken, pizza, hamburger and hot dog recipes come from immigrants. French fries, Mexican dishes like burritos and tacos and pasta dishes with Italian recipes are also widely eaten, Americans prefer coffee instead of tea. The U.S. advertising industry has made orange juice and milk drinks are typical for breakfast Frequent consumption of fast food is associated with what doctors call "obesity epidemic." Soft drinks are widely popular, the
sugar in them contributing 9% of the average caloric intake.

NY is the largest city in New York State

The city has many neighbourhoods and buildings known around the world called skyscrapers. The city also has concentrated many of the world's tallest buildings, among which are the Empire State Building and the twin towers which were destroyed in the attacks of September 11, 2001.

Tourism is one of the main economic activities in the city, with 40 million foreign tourists every year

Baseball is the most popular sport among the inhabitants.

Central Park, 3.41 km ² (in a rectangle about 4 km x 800 m) is situated in Manhattan. It is the most visited park in the United States, with about 25 million tourists a year, It has been filmed many times for films and TV programmes.

San Francisco

San Francisco is distinguished by the fact that some of its parks and beaches virtually all within the city limits are part of the National Recreation Area Golden Gate

The beaches and parks that make up this area include Ocean Beach, which is situated along the Pacific coast and is frequented by surfers.

San Francisco is characterized by a high level of life.The great wealth and opportunities created by the Internet revolution continues to attract residents and educated workers.

The San Francisco War Memorial and Performing Arts Centre hosts some of the oldest performing arts companies in the country.

The Golden Gate is the most famous bridge in San Francisco though not the largest in this city, as the Bay Bridge is the main road.

Las vegas

Las Vegas is the largest city in Nevada and has become one of the major tourist destinations thanks to its shopping and leisure travelers, but especially thanks to its casinos.

Las Vegas is sometimes known as Sin City.

my favourite music

I love pop, poprock, punkrock ... but only in Spanish, in English there are very few bands that I like it. my favorite bands are el cantodel loco, pignoise, fito y fitipaldis ... and my favorite singer is Melendi. I know all the songs of Melendi I've never been to a concert of them but I would love, I learn the songs becouse in the concerts the best, is know all the songs. 

Guitars

I love music, I'm learning to play guitar, is more difficult than to play the bass but a like learning new instruments for me it is more difficult than for my brother, he lernt very very fast, I would like to have that facility, now we are trying to play together. In the future we have an electric guitar becouse with the spanish guitars we can´t do much

The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Aged 13  , written by Sue Townsend. The book is written in a diary style, and focuses on the worries and regrets of a teenager who believes himself to be an intellectual.  Apart from the humorous events described in the diary, a lot of the book's humour originates from the unreliable narration of Mole, who naïvely, yet confidently, misinterprets events around him

Appleby wins as Tiger restores pride Down Under

Australian Stuart Appleby finished with a six-under 65 to win the Australian Masters title as defending champion Tiger Woods restored pride in the final round on Sunday.
Woods also carded a 65 to finish fourth, but it was Appleby who took the title after a birdie-birdie finish to overtake overnight leader Adam Bland. Appleby finished on 10-under 274 to beat Bland, who fell away with a two-over 73, by a stoke. Australian Daniel Gaunt was third at eight-under 276 with Woods a further shot back after his last day heroics.

Chilean miners tour Hollywood and will later attend 'CNN Heroes'

The miners who survived 69 days in a Chilean mine toured Hollywood and Sunset Boulevard in two double-decker buses Thursday evening, receiving cheers and a hero's welcome from passersby in the the street. The miners serenaded anyone who would listen. "Chi-chi-chi!" "Le-le-le!" "We the miners of Chile!" they sang in unison. Some people from the street and even a rooftop sang "Chile!" in return.

Venezuela deports left-wing 'rebels' to Colombia

 Venezuela has deported three suspected leftist rebels in Colombia. Colombia says that one belongs to the FARC rebel group, while the other two allegedly belonging to the ELN. The deportation came a day after Colombia agreed to extradite a drug suspect, Walid Makled, Venezuela, rather than the United States. The president of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez, has expressed concern that a trial in the U.S .by the Venezuelan nationality may be used to falsely implicate the government in drug trafficking.Relations between Chavez and his then counterpart, Mr. Uribe, including tightened.However, tensions have decreased significantly since the August opening of the current president of Colombia, Juan Manuel Santos
